Homeowner Equity Advocates exists for one simple reason:
To help people recover money that legally belongs to them — money most are never told exists.
When a home is sold through foreclosure, any funds left after debts and costs are paid are owed to the former homeowner. Unfortunately, banks and government offices rarely notify people, and the recovery process is often confusing, intimidating, and buried in paperwork.
We believe no one should lose what is rightfully theirs simply because the system is difficult to navigate.
